Greetings Everyone,

We are back in Bundaberg just in time for Cyclone Hamish.  As of today the cyclone is still a threat but it is predicted to weaken and turn west and be a direct treat to Bundaberg and Hervey Bay.  We are on board, with everything battened down, the dinghy deflated and lashed on deck and a dwindling supply of fresh food (we haven’t had time to repair the freezer compressor).  We wont starve — tins are plentiful and so are books but cabin fever is setting in.

We are eager to get started on the rebuilding of the dodger over the cockpit — a big job — and the multitude of smaller tasks that need doing each year to keep Maranatha shipshape.

Please pray for our safety and that of the boat and a successful completion of the repairs.

God bless you all,

Pam and Phil.
